Muza Sheet Metal Co. - Bring Pro-active on safety!

Left to Right: Chris Weyers (Sheet Metal Journeyman/Programmer) & Carven Blanck (Vice-President

In an attempt to raise the bar for safety at Muza Sheet Metal Co. of Oshkosh WI, a Safety Incentive Program (SIP) has been implemented as of January 2009. Management has designed a program to reward safe work practices by having a drawing for a different prize every quarter.

To be eligible for the SIP program employees have to be accident & violation free. They are then entered into a drawing, such as the one done April 1st, 2010, where Chris Weyers, a Sheet Metal Journeyman/Programmer of Oshkosh WI, won a $200.00 Festival Foods gift card.

This is our fifth drawing for the Safety Incentive Program. We have already seen a huge decrease in accidents and violations and has instilled a much greater awareness in Safety Procedures and Work Practices.

That is the ultimate goal of this program, Safe Workers and a better awareness of our surroundings, because a Safe Company is a Happy Company!
